Tell me about your cell phone in NM

I'm about to dump my second carrier, and would like my third to actually have functioning service.

I am often on the outskirts of Albaturkey, sometimes in remote areas, and have had constant dropped calls, garbled calls, and "no service", despite the carriers saying they cover the areas.

I have probably lost many thousands in business, because clients call multiple times and cannot get through.

Don't need internet, just reliable phone service, and reliable text would be nice but not required.

So...

What is your carrier/phone/service, whereabouts do you use it? and does it work reliably?

Thanks for your help

Have Verizon. It seems to work pretty well, except a few places in my house. Have used it in many parts of the state without issues. Also using an older phone, think its the one after they took the crank off the side. You know, you give it a few turns, then ask Ethel to connect you to BR549 .

I switched to T-Mobile several months ago. I haven't had as many dropped calls, zero delayed voicemails, and the coverage seems to be about the same as it was with Verizon. Then again, I haven't been farther south than Belen-ish since I switched.

Mainly I hang around ABQ, where service is generally fine. Coverage is variable-to-marginal in parts of the south valley, perhaps dependent on terrain masking. I have yet to get a voicemail 1-3 weeks after the fact, which happened a few times a year with Verizon. Hope this helps.

I only dropped Verizon due to cost. I now have Net10 and the service is only OK.
