I was out at the ranch checking fences today and found this pretty cool looking old tree that had fallen over, so I thought I would snap some pics....

My "Ranch rig"....a Winchester 94 in .44 mag along with a .44 mag Ruger SBH and a Randall Model 5 knife..... I was also packing an NEF .410 shotgun, so I had a couple of rounds for that on my belt too:

5" Randall Model 5 with a brass double hilt:

This. If I'm not mistaken you are pretty close to the center of the state.

I picked up the holster on a trip to Montana many years ago. It was made by the Nez Perce Saddlery Company. It looks like a copy of a Safariland holster for the Ruger SBH with a 5-1/2" barrel. Mine is not lined and I am not sure if they were ever made with lining. I don't think the company is still in business as I have tried to find them to get another one and was not able to locate any info on them.

As for yotes, the ranchers in front and behind me have done a hell of a job controlling them....I have not seen many out here at all....
