NMHTF shoot after-action report

Bunch of us got together and shot guns and shit. Had a great time. I FINALLY learned to bump-shoot!
Anyone want to list things that worked and didn't work for next time?
Worked:
EZ Up.
Inflatable mattress.
Didn't work:
Sleeping bag (mine was warm enough but must have shrunk in the 10 years since I used it last.)
About 1/2 the stuff I brought.
Didn't use my camp stove.
Forgot the poles to my tent. Gotta remember tent poles.
It's high desert. Gotta remember the warm(er) clothes. We got **just a bit chilly** overnight.
Innything else?

For those of us that are not able to get adequate water on board simply by eating a little sage or juniper now and then, September would be nicer. I used to be a good desert rat. I don't know what happened. Mitch you are hardcore dude. One day of that sun was enough for me.

I'm gonna agree that september is a better month. I loved it out there, but god Damn was it hot. I spent Sunday recovering from heat exhaustion lol. And again it was awesome to meet some of you guys. And Mitch, you are a hardcore dude! But make a purty lady!

I'm all in for a September shoot! Most any time is (currently) good for me, after the first week. But I gotta get the time in quickly so I can get it off (the time I mean).

September will be a busy month for me, we are changing locations and expanding the store I work at. I should be able to make it on a weekend, but cant promise anything.

I can do Sept 3rd if we are getting together in Sept. All of the other weekends are booked with either work or camping.

September is not so good for me. Spending most of my time scouting for and killing elk that month. But September would be a GREAT time for a shoot.
