I agree more so than ever before. I've also recently been made aware of another insidious issue with the Fat industry. Saturated Fat may not be the debil as we have been taught to believe. I've made a brief post about this in another HFCS thread. Google Omega-3 vs Omega-6 ratios. The Omegas are fatty acids we consume. The Omega-3 are mostly derived from fish oils and to some extent Flaxseed oil. Omega-6s come mostly from vegetable oils which are markedly lower in saturated fats which in hindsight may not be the best choice as you will find after some Google searches.

Other info will try to show it's the ratio of Omega-3 vs Omega-6 wherein lies the big issue. A ration higher(1 to 3) in Omega-6s causes inflammation of the arteries. It is this inflammation that seems to be the root cause of many of our heart disease, overweight and even Diabetic problems.
