Correct, reason it wasnt turned into a greasy spot and instead was relocated
I don't care if they are good snakes or not, after I ran away screaming like a little girl and getting over a coronary, I would go back and kill it!

King snakes kill other snakes so I let them be. I hate snakes too

this
While snakes do tend to make some people a little crazy there have been many occasions, especially here in the south, where decimated snake populations of certain species, namely rattlesnakes, has caused the rodent populations to get out of control. Many localities have rattlesnake roundups/rodeos seasonally. Often times the snake populations are affected enough they have to cancel them for a season or two to allow the rodent infestations to be put in check again. In the wild...let em live.
I personally love snakes. I keep boas and pythons and you won't catch me killing ANY snake. Venomous or not. I will just relocate them. Hate to see them killed out of ignorance and fear.

We lost a $2000 bull to a bite on the throat from some kind of venomous snake. Plus we have the lil one running around and the ferocious pouch pooches. cottonrattleheaded buggers don't stand a chance around me.
Otherwise, I try not to kill them unless I can't PID and they're too close to the house to not be sure.

I had up to 6 boas for a number of years.....I agree with relocation. Each species serves a purpose.

I don't kill snakes unless it is a poisonous snake close to the house.
