Firefighters were called for a smell of smoke and arrived at 6 a.m. No one answered the door and using a thermal imaging camera, no signs of heat were shown. They cleared the scene and an hour later, a maintenance man opened the door and found the bodies of a mother and 4 young children. Their had indeed been a fire, but the house was sealed up and consumed all the oxygen, extinguishing the fire. It's pretty rare, but it happens. This is the 3rd time I've heard of it locally in 14 years.
