Little Rock Area Hotels
Plan to stay in LR this Saturday night with Family. traveling to Bentonville. What area of LR should I get a hotel for the night?
West Little Rock (Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, Double Tree, etc)
Or Downtown if you don't mind spending a bit more coin. (Peabody, Marriot Courtyard, Holiday inn, Presidential. etc)
I would advise to stay out of Southwest Little Rock, and stay out of Central Little Rock (i.e. University Ave area) if you aren't from around here. The locals can get a bit to friendly when the sun goes down.

A better idea is to stay on I40 a little longer and stop in Conway. Around 30 miles further west from LR.

I dunno man. It's only 3 hours on the interstate from LR to Bentonville. I'd just keep on driving if I were you.
I am driving from Knoxville with a 5 yo. I think that is about all we got in us.
Thanks for the help. You guys are Grreat!
For the guys in the LR area. How are the Protho Junction exit motels?
It has been 40 years since I grew up in the area and can't recommend specifics.
I live in NWA now
+ 1 on the keep driving to conway. a 30 minuets well spent.

This.
If you must stop, the
Paris Hilton Garden in North Little Rock is nice. They have good food and its easy to get to/from. Otherwise I would see m4geek's post.
The Comfort Inn in North Little Rock is a fine hotel and there are several good places to eat within a few blocks.
3915 McCain Park Dr.
North Little Rock, AR, US, 72116
or if you want to go another 30 miles east to Conway,
2370 Sanders Street
Conway, AR, US, 72032
The Conway location is a bit easier to manage for an out of town traveler. Especially when you and your little ones are fatigued. There are also several good places to eat close to the Comfort Inn in Conway. I would avoid Prothro Junction due to the nature of the neighborhood and Little Rock is actually a significant detour from your path of travel.

Do you intend to rent by the night or by the hour?

What kind of stores?
Gun shops are
in descending order of coolness...lol
GI Guns in Rogers
Ozark Sportsman in Tontitown
Ozark Armory in Springdale
Big Jon's Gun and Pawn in Springdale (my shop)
Other things to see
Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville ( funded mostly by the Walton family)
University of Arkansas in Fayetteville
Really depends on what you are looking for and how long you will be around
Thanks for the info. Might be by to see ya later. I haven't found a Wal-Mart yet SmartA$$ lol
Looks like I picked a good time to go to NWA.
