Pulaski county/Maumelle CERT Class Apr 2-May 21
Anyone interested in taking a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) call in Pulaski county, msg me. The next one will be held at the Maumelle Fire Department #1, starting April 2nd thru May 21st. Each Monday night from 6pm-9pm.
It's free, and you will learn the basics of emergency response: first aid, weather, fire extinguisher use, utility shutoff, what to expect during a disaster etc.

This is a good way to get involved with one's community, especially for those that don't live areas covered by volunteer fire depts and those that don't want the expense of paying for gear to become reserve deputies.
Very good course, I took ours a few years ago, wish I had stayed with it but work took over at the time.
