Come March and April I have an opportunity to hunt coyote. The property that we have permission to hunt runs along powerlines.
I have an older Arkansas DNR guide but the info isn't clear to me.
Being from out of state do I need a hunting license and or tags to take coyote on private property?
As an out of stater what will I need as far paperwork to legally hunt coyote.
Any good info will be helpful.
Thanks For Your Time

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you will have to have a out of state license to hunt coyote here in AR since they do have a season for them.
I would recommend calling AR Game & Fish Commission.

Good luck!
A valid AR hunting license is required, and I don't think they are in season in March. Check www.agfc.com for up to date regs - coyote falls under the "furbearer" regs.
Let's see if I can make this work:
Species:Coyote
Zones:Statewide
Opens:4/12/2012 Sunrise
Closes:4/22/2012 Sunset
Limits:
SEE NOTES REGARDING HUNTING SEASON DATES.
No limit. Dogs not allowed.
More:
This segment of coyote hunting season runs with open turkey seasons.
In turkey zones 1, 2, 3, 4B, 5, 5B, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 9, 10 and 17, hunters may hunt coyotes April 14-29.
In turkey zones 4, 4A, 5A and 9A, hunters may hunt coyotes April 14-22.
During youth turkey hunts, only youths may take coyotes.
Day hunting only
Coyote may be taken with archery equipment, firearms of any caliber or shotguns with shot no larger than T shot. Coyotes may be taken during spring turkey season with hunting equipment legal for that season.
They keep changing the Coyote regs and makes it harder to keep up. Basically all you have is the Spring Turkey season to hunt them. And yes you do need a license. I think you can only hunt hogs here without a license and only on private land.

that is retarded
there should be no season or limits on yotes IMO
I agree...it's stupid. I think coyotes are being blamed for the lack of Turkey's here. I had thought they were gonna make it all year when they wanted to make some changes last year for this season. Last year I think you could hunt during any other hunting season which only left like 2 months during the summer you couldn't hunt them.
They (AGFC) have sometimes been pretty liberal with their issuance of predation permits for "nuisance" coyotes, even allowing for night hunts (which I know would be of interest to some of you).
I had no idea there was a fucking season

I'm starting to think they don't even care if there is one.
