I have a buddy that wants to get in the NFA game and is looking for his first suppressor for his AR. He wants to spend around $1100 including the stamp and to have the quick detach capability. He likes the Gem-tech G5. Any stocking Gem-tech dealers that anyone knows of? Open to any suggestions. Thanks.

I don't know enough about NFA items to judge wether or not price is high/low/average, but the guys there are pretty good about letting you play with stuff without actually buying anything. I always see several SBRs on the wall and a case full of suppressors (probably 20 or so on hand).
I dont think Gemtech sells their QD adaptors with the can anymore, so make sure your buddy sources one of those too. Should be ~100 if they're like everyone else.
