Do you think one of those Brownings with 324 bolts is better b/c the number of bolts?
I have a browning with 324 bolts and take exception to your comments
Actually there are better safes for the money, than the one seen in the picture.
However, what Supplex should buy is NVG. But I hear he would rather go rock climbing with hippies, than see at night

If you care about Supplex please talk to him.
ETA: I hate your poll choices

What Supplex needs to do is sell some of the guns in his over crowded (already good) safe and buy NVGs
There is no reasoning with the man

For that matter you too

Better take a closer look at that safe. From the picture, I don't even see any fire resistant seals. I'm willing to bet its not a fire safe.
And yes, 6 bolts for a safe that big is on the lower end of the quality spectrum. No locking bolts on upper, lower, or inside edge of door.
Not to mention the only two hinges on the door are on the outside. That safe could be easily opened with a blow torch or a heavy duty high speed grinder......
My opinion? Don't buy it, there are better for the money if you shop around and are willing to haul it yourself.

Yes. Much harder to break into.

Exactamundo!!!!!!
i have seen that add on there for months. the thing does not look fun to move.
stuck
Yes, because he already has my address to have it shipped to.

Poll Fail
Supplex has much going on at the moment. Many plans developing at the same time and they do not include procurement of a doomsday safe.
As some may know, I have recently procured a new method of transportation that may be more draining on my finances than is prudent. Though I will say it is nice to be excited about my vehicle once again.
Spikes08 is correct in my desire to get into climbing, notsomuch the hippie part, but if a hawt hippie woman wants to "climb" with me, who am I to refuse?
Insofar as SHTF purchases, a new safe is low on the list. NVG, plates, ammo, and mags are taking precedent. Are things getting cluttered and tight in the existing storage vessel, yes, but such is life. I have found that when a body increases "space" (ie bigger house, toolbox, workbench, etc) one usually buys stuff to fill the newly acquired real estate. At this point, I am focusing on less is more, rather than the alternative.
One exception is my lack of a big gun, I am fairly sure I had a black bear in my yard last night. Kinda wishing I still had my 45/70

As long as the pins are doing their job, hinge locations doesn't matter.
But just from looking, I dont think it has much, if any, fire protection that would hold up to a full blow house fire. I also dont see a gauge for the steel.

No joke! Enough with the super secret squirrel bullshit, lets hear some details about how to score a steal on a nice safe.

Wow, that's funny because of how accurately it portrays the two of you.
I say keep looking Supplex. If you can't find something better and you need it now then go for it.

Pragmatism wins the day. The safe is a want, not a need.
More importantly who is who in the picture? obviously the facial hair lends to cowboy....

Spikes's real name more closely matches the Ricky Bobby 2 first name approach.
ETA: One could draw similar parallels to my name and Dewey Cox

You would generally be correct, I could be wrong here but I don't see any pins on the inside or top of the door. If that is so, and it only had pins on the latch side, then cutting the hinges would allow the door to be opened.
Not bad, at all. 4.0L, 5-speed?
ETA: needs proper bumpers, IM inbound...

4-cyl, and it does have a nice steel bumper on the back.

If you had night vision, you would know there is a ninja/or a bear hiding in this picture; who seems poised to kill you.

I'm looking at that picture with my NV on right now, I don't see anything. Maybe if I had binos...

Well, I have never been part of the "cool" guy club. I apparently don't qualify since I am married.
I am just friends with the "cool" guys.
