Anyone else up in NW corner. I've been off this forum for years (sold pretty much everything I owned during a divorce) but have decided it's time to come back, slowly but surely.

Cool, glad to know I'm not alone. Seemed like last time I was around (back in 02-03) there weren't too many people on from up here.

I am going to actually encourage you to leave. Being here has cost me upwards of 35K in the last 3 years. Its too late for me, but save yourself while you still can!!!

If you decide to stay, I would HIGHLY advise staying out of the Suppressors and Night Vision Forums.

LOL I would love to get my hands on a suppressor...but I know that funding wise I am a looong way off...Hell, I'm a ways off from even picking up an AR again at the rate I'm going

I started with a simple lower, palmetto runs a special every now and then and one could be in your hands for about $75. Friends with cast aside parts could make it go quicker than you think. Keep an eye on the equipment exchange, as there are bargins to be had!! ( have 5 A2 uppers coming for $40 each!!) It's been about two years and six AR's later...... they morph pretty quick.

They definitely seem to grow once they get started. I had 4 and an unfinished pistol lower (Hesse) when I sold everything back in 04. I would kill to have my old collection back, my Daewoo DR200, Bull Barreled upper, 9mm Oly arms, Dissipator, BM carbine, my Glock 35...REALLY miss that one..among several other heavy barreled rifles and oddball semi autos. Lost a lot of money getting rid of those....ahh the joy of hindsight.

Don't know about the rest of these boys, but I can feel your pain. I have three ex's. I managed to hang on to my projectile throwers, but that was about it. Everything else went the way of the Dodo at one time or another. Just hang in there, keep your head down, and scrimp and save. It will come back.

Damn, that's a drive.

I'm out in Wesley. Just moved out here from Springdale and it's nice to be able to walk out the door and shoot. However, I live on a damned rock farm, so it's not gravy. I need to make a berm and clear out some rocks.
