fun day at Hobbs

I had a fun day out at hobbs range today
weather was nice and it was good to see a few AR15's out being used
best way to spend a day off , better than sitting at home
where is the winter?

i have driven by hobbs range a couple times. it looks pretty nice. not sure where winter is. i keep hearing wait tell next month. i just hope summer is not like last year.

I'm always scared when we have a milld or down right warm winter that our summer is going to SUCK.
Last summer was bad enough. I think I still have heat exaustion from a couple of the days.

How is the crowd midweek? I've been out there two times on weekends and there wasn't even room to park.
NWA is sure lacking a decent outdoor range.

seems to be unpredictable
I was the only one there one time on a saturday for about 40 minutes then the crowd came
I have been there when its totaly crowded and waited near 1 hour to get a spot
so its hard to know how it will be untill you get there
if the weather is good this weekend I might try it again

a little birdie told me that this summer was supposed to be hotter than ever, because we are closer to the sun this year than in years past.

Before they renovated it, there were quite a few bullet holes in the ceiling above the benches.

just looked at the weather and its cold and wet for the weekend then warm all week
this is a crazy weather pattern
I will see how it feels sunday and if I like it I might visit the range again
with allthe rain we had friday night will hobbs be a mud pit
