Well, the out of town people's are here to start the Turkey day festivities. As part of the tradition, we always find the Persimmon tree, and get a good sample of seeds. Last year, it was a spoon, and sure enough we got that "2-4"..Wait,......We mean 24" of snow forecast" fun time......

So, what is it this year for NWA

Another Spoon. Verified by the scientific method of 2 other "What yers got in it?" from around town......

Time to get the gutters fixed and put in an additional pile of wood...

So, what are the Persimmon readings from around the rest of the state

I need to run up to the farm and check. This might be important for the house construction.

I have a few of these trees on my farm. I guess this is the first I've heard of the seeds predicting the weather.

I eat 'em semi-ripe all the time. I've never had any issues.

What ever happened with that investigation. I saw the news stories on the local news stations and Foxnews.com, but I'm guessing my current location may have something to do with me not knowing more.
