I'm looking to have a commander length 1911 bobtailed. Anyone know of a gunsmith in the LR, Benton, Hot Springs area good at bobtailing a 1911. I don't mean to be a dick, but please don't recommend someone unfamiliar to the process. I really don't want to hand over a $1000 handgun to someone and it come back looking like shit.

Jeb Burnett at The Armoury in Roland, AR does alot of custom 1911 work. I know he has bobtailed a few. Give him a call: (501) 626-2796

I did that when I handed him a Detective Special to fix...... in September 2010
