On Tuesday, the Wichita City Council voted 4 to 3 to expand your Right-to-Carry in 111 city buildings, parks and recreation areas. State laws currently allow cities to dictate where concealed carry permit holders may carry in government buildings and this change represents a dramatic shift for a city which once banned permit holders from carrying all 392 city-owned facilities.

Thank you to all those who supported this measure and should any additional relevant information be presented, we will be sure to let you know. So please continue to check your e-mail and www.NRAILA.org for updates on this and any other issues.

This is a step in the right direction. Now if we could get rid of the no open carry ban in town.
On a side note, does anybody else get pissed off when they see the no CCW sign posted illegally or the wrong sign posted all together? It is supposed to be the Berretta 92 posted on the physical door at aprox eye level. Alot of businesses have them posted in corners on doors, on the window next to the door, or only on one door of a double door entry. My wife and I still carry in these locations with the signs posted improperly.

Same here.

So, to answer your question, no it doesn't piss me off at all.

Fuck those no carry signs.

Its like a $50 fine if you are caught. My CCW instructor said to the best of his knowledge, no one has ever been charged.
