I have family in Kansas City, Kansas and I'm most likely going to move there to be closer to them. I'm coming from Nevada.
Can anyone tell me about your gun laws, specifically do you have mag restrictions and gun restrictions?
How easy to get a CCW. I have one in Nevada.
Are there any IPSC clubs close by?
Any help would be appreciated.

Kansas is very gun friendly. No mag restrictions, CCW, open carry, and all Class III weapons are welcome here.
To get your Kansas CCW, you have to take an 8 hour class and apply for license. It is a shall issue law and they up to 90 days to do it.

Open carry is allowed only by state, cities may have differing laws.
BTW Welcome to KS

-No mag limits
-No AWBs
-SBR, SBS, AOW, MG, Suppressor legal. Not sure about DD, someone else will have to chime in there.
-Shall issue CCW
-Open carry, but with city preemption.
-Castle law, no duty to retreat. ((ยง 21-3212. Use of force in defense of dwelling; no duty to retreat. (a) A person is justified in the use of force against another when and to the extent that it appears to such person and such person reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent or terminate such other's unlawful entry into or attack upon such person's dwelling or occupied vehicle.))

Cash and go.

No permit, no waiting, just fill out a 4473, pay the dude your money, and be on your merry way.

Cash and go.

No permit, no waiting, just fill out a 4473, wait for a response from NICS background check, pay the dude your money, and be on your merry way.

Added to your answer. the buyer must have a NICS check per the Brady law, if the check comes back PROCEED then you can walk out that day. There are some states where a CCW permit will allow you to bypass NICS, but Kansas is NOT one of them.

Go to this link and search the keyword firearm. That will give you all of Kansas' laws. However, like said before, some laws can be instilled by cities that are stricter than the state law.
