How long have you need waiting for your NFA item?

Share with the rest of us (Alaskan) how long you have you been waiting for your NFA item. It you have been approved recently tell us thous dates.

The guy at ImpulseShooting told me the other day he has items waiting for 6 months. Which really sucks because I'm rounding up all the stuff I need to submit my Form 4.

Perhaps those guys are not happy with having their pay frozen!

Longest was 6 months.
Shortest was 68 days.

All in 2010 and 2011 before the examiner switch.

I got approved on a Form 1 on January 26th and it went pending August 22nd. Now the bad part, I still haven't received my paperwork. I'm pretty sure it got lost in the mail. ATF said wait 2-4 weeks for delivery. So I can't do shit until after 30days. Last form 4 took 156 days.

Longest one was 9 months for a machine gun.

While not a form 1 or 4 im still waiting on a demo gun from about a year ago.

I am finally starting to get some forms back. Just got one from last may.

I have a pile of cans waiting for approvals.

I had my check cashed in the first week of Dec, still no stamp. Does check being cashed count as "pending"?

NO.

My last form 1 took 4.5-5 months. Got it back about 3 months ago. My understanding is that NFA branch is down to something like 7-9 examiners. Can you imagine the $$$ their making with stamps alone?

From what i'm reading on other forums the wait is approx. 6 months now

I think I want 1 more can and then I'll be done.

Talking with a few dealers here, it seems like about 6 months is the current norm. Our new reviewer is notorious for this.

That sucks . I still have time till my trust shows up and my pistol .. dang .

I forgot to add that I have one sitting at 4.5 months right now.

My suppressor via individual went pending on Aug 22, approved Jan 26, in my hands about a week later.

My first form 1 took 4 months this was back in 09, I just sent in a form 4 on 16 Feb delivered to Ga. 21 Feb.... Day 2

I don't expect to see it back until late Aug early Sept

A little over 5 months for a form4 stamp - arrived in Jan.

I have been waiting 2 weeks

FINALLY!!!!
I called ATF today "Approved as of 2-21-2013"
160 day 5 months and 7 days but who's counting!

Just faxed a request for a certified copy of the Form 1 they lost. I'll probably be 6.5 months before I get anything back.

That was fast.

I just got one in this week that was sent in in August, one last week that was sent in in May.

It sure didn't feel fast!!! But if I compare it to "May time" I can understand.
