des moines gun show this weekend

is anyone planning on attending i am thinking of going to it friday to get a feel for some of the guns i am looking to purchase since i dont have my permit to buy i wont be purchasing much there but i felt it would be a good chance to hold some of them atleast.

Friday. I suspect a mob.

so they are usually busy friday i will be going in the morning i would think most people would be working

Went on a Sat. last time in town...way, way, way too crowded for me.

My favorite time to hit shows is Sunday morning. All day Saturday is typically a cluster of epic proportions. Friday night is usually busy but manageble. There will no doubt be a line three or four blocks long tomorrow at five.

As usual, IFC will be there.

This is a new show - they haven't done a March show previously so likely won't be quite as many tables as normal. I dont think they're opening up the "annex" for this show. Crowds may be a little more thin given spring break.
We'll be there pedaling our goods - come pick up some stuff to organize your safe.

I plan on picking up a doughnut eating,house painter and retired LEO and heading down Friday night.
Might go down on Saturday too,need to sell some guns and stuff.

are you picking up grandpa? will they let him out of the nursing home...

Yep! I found a hole in the perimeter wire the other day while I was taking a walk. As long as I get back before lights out, they'll never miss me...........FOOLS!

Worked the IFC table tonight and must say it was actually one of the slower shows that I have seen in a while. I didn't take the time to walk around so I don't know of any good buys. I did notice that a few of the dealers have again changed places on the floor and there was a few empty tables as well as the annex being empty.

Make sure to stop by the IFC table; we're fighting for you.

Was fairly busy around a few tables but not bad. Saw a few new faces. Good people at the IFC.

I was impressed for once at their gunshows one of the dealers had LWRC rifles for sale what??? bought some decent priced parts and an expense burger lol oh and one dealer had three colts at [retty good prices but im building a rifle right now not buying complete one

Got there Friday night and was surprised at the small crowd. You could actually move thru the show without shoving people.

Didn't buy anything but did see some worthwhile deals. Friend picked up a really nice Gne 2 Glock 17 for $300. Only one mag and no box, but still the best price I've seen on Glock in a long time.
