Duck/goose hunters
Have the geese been moving at all?
What are the reports as of now?
Had some luck on ducks over the weekend but only have seen about 5 specks.
Good hunting!!

Was just in western Sask for 5 days. The numbers there weren't great yet. It's been to warm so the geese hadn't moved in.
Weather is too nice. Have not seen or heard of any bit of a migration beginning.

You're gonna have to talk to these guys about that: http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_8/6_Canada.html

Couple of buddies went last weekend about a hour west of Devlis Lake, ND and had good luck. Got on about 1000 mallards in a river bottom and did well field hunting but not near numbers there usually are during the big move.
Was up from Sioux Falls to Webster yesterday and all the pot holes are still pretty empty at the moment.
All I've seen are the local populations. Haven't seen anything moving through.
Was out there this week and limited out on ducks. The geese are coming down. Probably saw 4-8K a day. About half were honkers and the other snow's. Was not as many hunters as previous years. Would like to go back in about 10 days with some cold weather. The mallards were real jumpy. Being shot at and all.
Saw my first flock of migrating geese over SF today. 50 specks with a couple snows mixed in. No hunting for me this year. Go get em fellas!

Its a start I suppose.
Been too warm here, not much flying yet.
DAMMIT!
Ya, its starting to feel like its gonna be a blast for a short period of time. One big storm could blow all those birds south fast.
