Can you guys give me some info on the local ranges? I am moving from NY (thank GOD!) and don't know much about the area.
I'd like to find out stuff about membership costs, if they have websites, and any other information such as is it EBR friendly or
will I get the "hairy eye-ball" from the Fudds.

Any help will be appreciated!

There are in door ranges in Taylor and Westland as well. About 20-30 minutes away.

Welcome to Michigan where we tell you how to get somewhere in TIME, not DISTANCE.
Winters are an experience but drivers forget what it's like every year.
laws are better than NY but still full of "derp"

and if you move to Ann Arbor you should worry less about the hairy eyed fudds and more about the hairy-armpit hippies!

Lived here 10 years, look me up if you want local knowledge.

Don't forget the Firearms Exchange in Livonia. Also there is rumor about a new range opening in Livonia in the future.

I wouldn't waste your money going to firearms exchange in Livonia. I gladly drive 20 or so minutes to island lake. Indoor fees are crazy.
And Ive also heard of the new range, cant remember whos opening it up though....

Post 46 is the best range in the area if you want to practice real-life shooting. The president of the club is no FUDD.

Tri-County is very nice and has nice folks, but they are very strict about their rules (no drawing from holster, shooting on the move w/ a rifle, etc.).
