Trying to get appraised and sell a WW II Japanese sword. Where to go?
Anyone know where in the memphis I could go to have this looked at? I'm almost 100% sure it's a Japanese type 32 sword but I'd like an expert to take a look.
I don't know about Memphis, but DKProf seems to be into swords. You could post pictures on GD and you might get some good information about it. And they could point you in the right direction.
The blades forum here in arfcom or the
Bladeforum.com might be good places to get some direction.
Thanks, I didn't even think about the blade forum on here, Doh! I'll take some good pictures tonight and might hit up DK to.
I don't know anything about this forum, but you might lurk over there and check it out.

Call the Pink Palace & ask them for advice. I know they now have a more natural history focus, but they may be able
to point you in the right direction.
Also, the Tennessee State Museum (Nashville); ask for the Military Curator, & ask the same question.

Don't it, though! However, that's the museum's name, "since the memory of man runneth not to the contrary", as G. Gordon says.
