I understand you can now CCW in almost all National Parks (I think it is only 3 you can not), but was wondering about Utah's state parks. Planning a visit there soon and I have a valid CO CCW (called CHP here). So Utah guys, can I carry in your state parks?

Yup.

Some parks still have signs prohibiting guns, but the signs are outdated and the rules were changed years ago. There are no longer any restrictions on carrying guns, although there are some restrictions on firing guns in the parks.

Knock yourself out. I've carried in plenty of Utah State Parks. No problems here.

Slightly OT but years ago I visited Goblin Valley State Park and was greeted at the entrance by a Glock-armed, female park ranger in shorts who also happened to be very attractive. That is all.

Ahh the classic 'woman-in-uniform' goggle effect.

Must be. But when I was at Goblin Valley last year, the two rangers were mid-20's females who were... easy on the eyes.

I guess I better listen to my wife, and take the family to Goblin Valley this summer...
