I guess I'm being an impatient bastard. Only 27" on the hills at JH Resort.

Was supposed to go out today but its icy and sunny so its freezing out there.

Hurry up snow, my gear is getting anxious.

This ^^^
The other day I was making runs up to a location near Chugwater and you couldn't tell where the lanes were on the highway because of blowing snow. At least the snow was blowing so hard it wasn't really sticking to the road surface. And then you get to where you are going and you're freezing your butt off standing outside unloading propane or running a frac heater.

The Chesapeake guy down at one of the Colorado locations we are working was nice, he gave me one of the insulated FR hardhat liners.

I work in the US in oil/gas, but live in both countries... long story.

Espirito Santo is a nice place, we either go to Vitoria or Rio... equally as far to get to the nice beaches from Belo Horizonte...

Chugwater huh? If big red... Casper or the Brighton guys?

Are the Chesapeake company men making you have a spotter (with lame vest) in the front and rear when driving on location?

Big Red is on both locations, but I don't know where they are out of. I haven't had to take propane up since they moved over to a different location...they have rock gravel and mud in the water source lines and our heaters haven't burned a drop. The Chesapeake guys haven't made me use a spotter yet going in, but I'm am only in a little bobtail propane truck. I do use a spotter when backing though.

Ya'll shut your whore mouths! You're gonna jinx me.

I've been praying for a mild winter after having to drive and walk around in that stuff the the last three winters. I have an hour and a half commute to work each morning, and I'm not in the mood to extend the driving time from that to 2 or 3 hours.

Snow, snow, stay away
Come back when I finally retire.

You go back to California. I was born here in the PNW, and here I shall always stay.

PS - I'll make a deal with you. If I get laid off, it can snow 'til the cows come home for all I care. So pray that I get laid off.

PSS - By your math, you're at least 51 years old since you haven't had to walk around in the snow for the last 15 years.

I went to a talk last night by the Utah Avalanche Center. The said that thus far, it's been a terrible snow season (no surprise there). They said the snow in the mountains right now is very poor quality. They're very worried that when we finally do get a big dump of snow, that we'll have very high avalanche risk this season. Crappy snow with a heavy slab on top equals big avalanches.

Having said that, we need a good 10-20 feet up there. My skis are getting irritable.

Hope you guys get some snow.

I just look at what the Fire Danger could be if none/little falls.

All that beetle kill is just a big tinder match waiting to go.

Wish the darn gov would start cutting.
