So I was at the gunshow yesterday with a couple of guys from work and picked up some Slipstream Weapon Lub and Weapon Grease. It's made by Crusader Weaponry who's local also.
Has anyone used it. My XD slide and trigger group is freaking slick with very little lube or grease. The lub is a liquid but it stays put to where you have it.
Only thing I got from them. The action on that AR they had was very smooth. I wondered if it was the lube or some smithing they had done. Might have to check out the lube.
I reviewed it two years ago after they gave me a bottle to try out. I wasn't that impressed, it burned off very quickly. Ran it on an AR and a friend's Springfield XD. I'll stick with Slip2000 EWL, or even Castrol. If you want a "boutique" weapons lube, the Lucas Gun Oil works pretty good.
Thanks for the link.
The lighter oil product works really good on 22 pistols where you want slick but not a lot of drag. It also works great on folding knives.
The problem I had was when I ran it on a 1911 where it seemed to wear off after 75-100 rounds. I went back to my old standby, Wilson Ultima Lube which I think may be a re-branded synthetic motor oil.

Synthetic motor oil, yea, for a time being, I used to use Synthetic Mobile 1 0W-20. That stuff was really slick and lasted a long time. But I went to CLP. I found this stuff to be a nice middle of the road thing, between CLP and Mobile 1.
