 Utah CCW wait time.

Hey guys. i just recently moved to utah, and am taking my CHL course. About how long is the wait time for the license to arrive nowadays? Like 2 months?

Last I heard, 45 to 60 days. I'm still waiting on mine from...I forget when I turned it in.

I think 60-70 days is accurate.

Damn it. They should immediatley give you a temporary paper copy as soon as tou finish the course.

I think 60-70 days is accurate.

You guys are lucky. When I got my permit a few years ago I had to wait around 3 months. They only have 60 days to approve/deny your permit but what they were doing is not starting the 60 days until your credit card was charged. Your application would sit there for a month. It's worth it, though.

But that would require the government to work according to the "constitution" and "common sense", two things of which the are woefully devoid of.

Ah, doesn't state law require them to approve or deny in 60 days?

In the mean time you can always OC or CCW in your car. That's legal.
