Passd it on the way home today from Jackson, but didn't realize that's what it was until I mssed the exit.

Is it worth the drive back up there? How much military surplus do they have? Ammo cans, sleeping bags, alice packs, bayonets? How are the ammo prices?

They have a lot of old surplus stuff...A lot of it is useless stuff, but they do have a wide variety. Sometimes they have good ammo cans, sometimes they are rusty junk. The prices arnt exactly cheap... those days are gone it seems. They still have some cool stuff, but probably not worth an extra trip. They do usually have a pretty decent selection of ammo, but the prices arnt "great"... on par with most gunshops though. I dont recall seeing any surplus bags, but they do have Alice packs and IIRC they do have bayonets.

If you are looking specifically for ammo cans... Tight Group Enterprises (in WVC, i think) usually has nicer cans for a cheaper price.

In the fall, around hunting season, they do have some good sales. It might be worth stopping by if you are driving past Ogden again sometime.

Friends don't let friends post on forums drunk - so you had better give all your stashed brews away to your friends. Smith and Edwards is a mere shadow of what it was a decade or two ago - not worth a special trip there IMO. I miss the old surplus stores with good stuff -

Yeah I moved here 5 years ago and its even gone down hill since then. You can however find some great deals on guns occasionally!

That store has a little bit of everything.
