It's been a few years but when I did mine it was turned in to the Courthouse in downtown O.C.

You need to go to the PSTC located on 82nd avenue and Sunnybrook. They have a firearms compliance officer (Joel something ????? I think) that will process your paperwork for you and send you out with a signed form withing 15 minutes if you have an appointment. You can do a walk-in, but will be taking the chance that he isn't available. They also charge something like $35.00 (they take debit or credit cards) to process each form.

The fee was new to me but I felt it was worth it since I walked out the door within 30 minutes with the completed forms, and this included having the fingerprint cards taken too. They also have a fee for the fingerprint cards (which you have to pay in cash).

Bingo. My Form 4 made it in just before the fees went into effect in August.
On the up side - they are efficient and friendly.

Don't hold your breath - my Form 4 went pending in July and they are telling me I'll be lucky to see it before Christmas.

nfatracker.com is more optimistic, but we'll see.

If I may ask, who set up the trust for you?

My trust was part of how I learned the hard way not to deal with a certain local Gunshop/class III vendor. Back when i didnt know anything about class three stuff and before I knew any better... I let Beavercreek Armory set one up for me. In the end now it is fine, but it took three modifications and an amendment to get it kosher with state law before the ATF would approve items on it... Now a few years later it's fine and I've got a nice little stamp collection going... Then right after that debacle they kept $1250 of my buddy's money paid for an AAC SPR-M4 for almost a year and never ordered one for him. (I sent him out to Pat and all was right after that. )

So we don't deal with them no more...
