Anyone else mule deer hunting?

Hunting the Fort Rock unit. We have a cabin here but the hunting has been bad the last 10 to 15 years. I haven't even seen a buck in a few seasons. My little brother shot a nice 4x5 on Saturday though. I'll post some pics later. Other than that, it's been a pretty dismal hunt. Only seen 5 doe today.

I have a buddy with a cabin in the Fort Rock unit. They have about 10 acres right outside of Crescent. Are you close by?

yup. Shot a 3 point opening morning in fossil unit. Drew the tag with my second choice. Lots of people. Step dad shot a forked horn the following day, same area. LOTS of people! I've never hunted the fossil unit before, but it sounded like WWIII opening morning.
