Shooters Mercantile??

Hey I ran into a guy last week that was trying to convince me that the Shooters Mercantile in Salem has reopened. Is this true, or is he full of shit?
I used to LOVE this store!! Cheap place to shoot, good selection. I would go down there and buy up all the 1911 parts I could get my hands on from the back wall and then go home and build all sorts of new 1911 creations! Oh and lets not forget that Double Stack Becky was always very very pleasing to look at and sometimes she would even let me shoot for free if they weren't too busy

I hear this from time to time, but this is the third time I've heard it in as many months. Closest I've been to that part of Silverton Rd is the Smokin' Swine barbecue truck on the other side of Lancaster from there, though.

I've driven by a few times in the last few months and seen cars in the parking lot, but the gates are still covering the front doors. I figured someone must just be using the place for parking.

Still closed, and I highly doubt it's going to re-open, at least under the prior management.

The cars out front usually belong to the nearby gardening store and are very misleading. I will check again, next time I'm in Salem though.
