Always nice to see a new shop in the area. I stopped by Curt's Discount Shooting Supplies on 99E in I guess Milwaukie. It's just north of Jenning street on the west side of the road. They had a nice little set-up of AR 15 rifles and parts, plus cheap prices on ammo. I saw 7.62x39mm for $5. They had a low price DPMS in there too but I don't know much about the brand, I think it was about 700. Lots of tactical stuff for a small shop. Oh, Uly 7.62x54r for under 10 bucks too

ETA: About a 1/4 mile north of Airstream dealership.

They really need to get a web site going, or at least a page with some location info, hours of operation, and a contact address.

With that kind of ammo, did you happen to see any SAIGAs floating around?

There's what I think is called an unconverted Saiga 12 at the new gun store in Hillsboro a block west of the Airport. I don't know anything about Saigas, just saw one on the rack there. The place has weird hours cause all the guys have other jobs. It's called Willamette Valley Arms; <removed - Cape>

A block west of the airport? Is this new gun store in the same mini mall where Burgerville is? Cornell and 25th.

I've stopped in there a few times since he opened up. Good pricing on things, cheapest Pmags I have found in town.

Across Cornell from Burgerville. You enter at the carwash and drive back all the way to the row of metal shop looking buildings.

What kind of Tier 1 products did he have in stock?

I'm impressed someone had an Atlas bipod on the shelf in the pdx area most of the shops around here blow

Atlas FTW!!! I only have one, but it 'shore is niiiiice. Kind of heavy to tote around all day, but who cares; its cool, so I bought it... That is pretty wild that somebody in the PDX had a couple Atlas on the shelf. I waited over 3 months to get mine...

I gotta sell my Kimber and the .223 LTR before I can buy much more right now... My current needs are a Bobro mount and a 4-16 Viper PST and another G19 for me. Got a third kidlet on the way, so I will be buying moar milk and diapers for the next two years again... I will be solidly in the Tier 2 buying group from now on...

Just dropped off my upper with them this afternoon. Didn't spend any time looking around but they did appear to have quite a selection of AR accessories.

Anyone have a solid idea of willamette valley arms hours? I stopped by yesterday when i was in the neighborhood visiting my ffl, and they were closed. It looked nice inside, albeit small. That was peeking through the window like a creeper though.

Yah, I don't know how that keeps happening...

And yes, we're going the 18th, right? I'm gonna try and have a third barricade made up by then so Matt and Aaron can take theirs home after. I had one all done so we tried it out yesterday morning and it's pretty nice; less than 2 minute setup. Would be a little hard to cart around in a Civic though...

Here's the last thing I got:

Mon/Tue - 1730-2100
Wed/Thur - appointment only
Fri - 1200-2100
Sat/Sun 0900-1700

That was a month or so ago, but I "think" it's still what they're doing. All the guys running it have other jobs, so for now the hours are odd as they are scheduling around their paying jobs...

cheers, Benji

I'm planning on the 18th. The barricade stuff sounds good. The civic is easy on the wallet, but not so good for gear haulin.
