any one know of the quality of the double star. aren't all uppers forged in one or two locations anyway?

I don't own one, so maybe someone more knowledgeable will come along. Double star lowers seemed to be pretty well thought of when I was building mine so I think their uppers would be fine.
Doublestar makes very high quality components........one of my primary suppliers for pistol caliber builds.....
Check roll marks to see who machined the upper. The upper should be Teflon coated, so it probably won't match your Bushy (if that matters to you). The Doublestar barrels are accurate, but I haven't seen one that is chrome lined. Overall, very good. I use their lowers for my builds.
