We were there today too. I got to leave work early because it was slow and we got there a little after 2 PM. A great time was had by all.

Did anyone get pics of the hot pirate wench with the umbrella (no...not the pasty white one ).

I should have called you but I figured you were stuck at work.

Darn. We left by 3 pm. It was hot and getting crowded.

We (I'm a teacher...) took a middle school group to Savannah this weekend for their 8th-grade trip. We didn't realize when we booked it that the Tall Ships Festival was in town. It was a really good time, but I would have rather been there with my wife! Oh well...

My wife was going to take the kids and family down there but at $25 a head to get there...

I remember seeing the ships come in without having to pay a thing. Got to love the attempts the city makes in trying to make money

After 2 it went to $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids which was a lot more reasonable. FWIW, the USCG Eagle was free the whole time, but that little tidbit wasn't included in the festival info.

Wow! Time sure does fly by. Spend all the time you can with them. I didn't know there was a new addition! Congrats bro!

Oh well they didn't advertise that it seems... not that it mattered to me... being 8,000 miles away and all. No water where I'm at

Thanks for posting the pics. I wish I could have been there. I went aboard the USS Constitution a couple of years ago. Would love to do a cruise on her.

For those who don't know, the USCGC Eagle was seized as a war prize from Germany at the end of WWII. USCGC Eagle
