They built a rifle under $4K that shoots in the teens. And with the skills at AO, I believe it to be intrinsically repeatable.
I gaffed off the idea of purchasing a mil-spec 5R and having them do their majiks on it many months ago... since I don't already have
a 700 series rifle laying around.
Anyone have a source for 5r or 5r equivalent barrels ?
Between the wife and me the barrel is shot out on my 700, and I'm looking to upgrade with the replacement

I think AO has a shipment of barrel blanks coming in. Give bookhound a call and see what he has!

Regarding barrels, we've got 5R blanks from Rock Creek and Brux on the shelf. Might even have a Bartlein or two.

Whidden Gunworks is down near you...Similar capabilities to AO. I got a Broughton 5C barrel from him..He had it in stock.
