You could try lawmans. Cheaper than dirt was selling colt 6920's for 990$ with 7.99$ shipping. Ffl transfer of 15-20$ its pretty cheap.

Have you checked out PSA's new store?

Was there last weekend, and they stock major brands.

PSA is probably one of the best places in Cola. Shooters Choice has a few, but not many.

You're about a month or so late.. When PSA opened their new store, they were selling complete PSA rifles for $599. I got a lower there for $50.

Thanks for the tips.

I am well aware of PSA.

I have not yet been to the new store, but last time I was in the Farrow Rd store they pretty much only had PSA rifles in stock (not that that's a problem).

I will direct my brother to try the new location as well. He has checked Shooter's Choice, Sportsman's warehouse and the Farrow Rd PSA.

He was looking for a S&W M&P, and I guess he didn't see something that peaked his interest at the PSA he visited.

As an FYI, I was in the Lexington Walmart last night and they had a Sig M4, a DPMS Sportical (I think), a Windham(?) that looked like crap, and a Colt 6920.

I've seen a few M&P's at their new store.

Shooter's Choice isn't worth the gas. Don't waste your time going there. That place is a "typical" gun store operated by a bunch of fat slobs that are too high and mighty to talk to anybody. I've got a few range cards given to me as a gift from that place. Not sure I'll ever use them.

Backyard Guns in Wilmington is much, much better than Shooter's Choice. They usually have a fairly solid selection of rifles, though I have not been in the shop since they switched locations.

Thanks, but don't think we will be making the drive to Wilmington, NC from Columbia, SC.

I did stop in the new PSA store on Fernandina today and they had quite a selection of AR's including a couple of nice S&W MOE's.

I suggested to my brother that he go check them out.

PSA FYI the majority of their PSA branded AR products are actually built by FN.....(good to go!).
