Decent gun shops around Elizabeth City
Just wondering if anyone knew any decent gun shops in the Elizabeth City area of NC?

Not sure about E City but there are a few up in Virginia Beach for sure.
which ones you recommend up that way?
Theres three shops in E city: Chaunceys, Bull Shooters, and a smaller Pawn Shop that just opened up next to the Cook-Out on Ehringhaus.
Been a while since Ive been to Bull Shooters but its down past the USCG base on towards Weeksville, smaller type mom and pop shop run out of separate garage. Small selection, but whatever you want he can probably order.
Chaunceys is the main shop in the area, pretty good selection, prices are usually on the high side.
E City Pawn just opened a few months ago, really small selection, but they have the best price around for transfers, ($40 as compared to $50 at Bull Shooters and Chaunceys.)
There's a couple of shops around the Norfolk/Va Beach area, decent ones being the Pawn shop/Gun range near Dicks on Va Beach Blvd, pretty large selection of guns/acccessories, nice shooting range, lots of rentals. and there's also a place right near the lynnhaven mall in Va Beach that's supposed to pretty good as well called A&P arms, but Ive never been there. There's also a place called The Armory off of Indian River Rd that's good a pretty decent selection and usually has quite a bit of bulk ammo as well.

Just moved down here from RI. I previously lived in NC...Goldsboro (about 3hrs west). Just wanted to check out what was available in this area

About a hour down the road from E City is Mackeys gun shop. Easily the largest gun store I have ever been to they have different rooms for just pistols, rifles, ect. I would check that out the prices are a little high tho.
