Gunsmiths in Wilmington/Jacksonville Area
I live in Holly Ridge and I'm looking for a decent gunsmith to work on a Remington 870. I actually just need something very simple done to mine: I want to cut down the stock and fit a recoil pad. I know it's something that isn't too hard to do myself, but I don't have access to tools right where I'm at, and I don't care much for cutting my own guns.
Anyone know a gunsmith in the area you would trust to shorten your synthetic stock by 1 to 2"?
Here is a good Gunsmith that I trust in Wilmington....just off Market street. I would call first and just let him know what's on your mind.

I've talked to them a couple times about some issues I was having with my 870 and they answered my questions instead of giving me the "why don't you bring it on down and let's have a look at our standard hourly rate".
