 Knife Dealers near Raleigh?

I know there were not many tears shed when Davis in Raleigh closed, but their knife selection was one of the best I have ever seen. Has anyone in the Raleigh area filled the knife retailer void they left? I am going to be farming this year and I need a tough, hard use knife that can take a lot of abuse. I am leaning toward the Buck/Tops CSAR folder, but I refuse to buy one before I handle it. Any suggestions on a local place that might have this knife? I've called around to most of the local gun stores, but keep hitting dead ends.

Thanks in advance.

Too bad you didn't go to the gun show last weekend. They always have tons of knives. Whats your price range? I have SOG Aegis that I have loved.

Places to check are : Lawmens, Eagle 1, PDHSC...not sure if those places carry knives or not, Pretty sure PD does NOT. Cannot recall on the other 2. If you're travelling through Mebane, Mace Sports DOES have knives. Also, Fuquay Gun & gold may have them or not

Unfortunately, I DID go to the gunshow last weekend. None of the dealers had teh Buck/Tops that I could see, anyway. It was so crowded I could have missed it, but I checked with the major knife vendors, no luck. I'll call the Fuquay shop, that is one I have not checked.

Is the Fayetteville Armory still open on Bragg Blvd? I haven't been in years but that is where I used to buy my knives from.
