That's a humbling experience to see one fly over.

The one time it happened was a low, slow fly over and I knew there was no place I could run to fast enough or hide to avoid its potential destructive capabilities.

Believe you me. If he is flying slow and low, he is not about about to unleash hell on you. Now if he is up there a bit and flying like a bat out of hell, then he just unassed hell on you. Just wait for it, it is only a few seconds away.

Saw it as well about 11:30ish in O'fallon. Brought a 1st grade baseball game to a complete halt.

Saw it in Ballwin. Flew into a cloud and I never saw it fly back out. REALLY stealth.

Same thing here... interrupted my kid's game in Creve Coeur, probably right before you saw it. And it was flying low and slow

CAP had some big event at spirit airport, the flyover was for that, they also had a static A-10 display. It was on the radio and tv for a few days.

There are a lot of air shows and events going on around the country. My old neighbor is a B2 pilot and was in town for the last couple weeks to fly around the country to different events.

When I used to live in northern Polk Co. the coolest thing I ever saw was from my deer stand one November afternoon. Living south of Whiteman it wasn't unusual to see A10s frequently and if you were lucky to catch a glimpse of a B2 on rare occasions. One day I was in the stand and looked up in time to see a contrail headed northeast. At the head of the trail I was able to see a B2 hitting a KC. It was really neat to watch them fly in tandem until they were too far to see with unaided eyes. God bless every one of those brave aviators.

I had a moment of duality in 2008 while at Quantico. I was walking with a group across an area when one of the guys I was with pointed up... Above us was what appeared to be two F-18's fully dressed getting fueled from a tanker. From the Marines I was told they were performing a CAP. On one hand, I felt totally safe. On the other hand, I was told by said Marines that Quantico was a plumb target...

What the hell, I was surrounded by Marines.

Man can they drink.

Wednesday I had a two pack of B2' fly over the house in a generally Easterly direction, holding same altitude and flying top notch fingertip formation.
No camera capable of catching them was within reach.

Just happened to see them as there was no sound whatever.
