I am thinking about selling my Scar 17. Anyone know what they are going for these days? I checked gun broker and not a lot of actual bids on any.

I spend time on FNforum.net and see the used ones going for $2400-$3k depending on the condition, amount of use and accessories included. The FDE tend to go quickly and usually for a little more $ than the black ones. Usually for FDE if you have all the factory stuff (manuals, paperwork etc) and less that 500 rounds thru it, It'll go for $2500-2700, if you have extra mags and/or a Giesselle Triiger, that will sweeten the deal and reflect the higher prices of around $3k

The price should come down a bit once they finally start shipping enough that they get out to the distributors. They will end up a couple hundred over the 16S.

Saw one on the wall at Nick's in Washington. Price tag was in the $3k range so I didn't bother with it at all.

That is not bad thinking really. I am just looking to buy a house and figured I could use the 3k to put down on a house.
