I recently acquired a 686 6 (no Hilary hole) From the pictures you could not see the Bubba work. It looked like he used a wire brush to clean the outside of the cylinder, very very sad. After 3 days of work all he metal is almost back to the factory look. It will take a few more days until I am Satisfied.
And I am still not convinced the black is carbon LOL
Anyway I need some internal work done . so Please recommend a Competent Smith in the St louis area

What kind of work? I am a Smith armorer, and can do a lot of repairs that don't require factory level service.
