Does anyone in the numismatic endeavors have a trusted coin dealer they like to use?
I have an inherited coin that I need to get assayed for insurance.

I had to sell some coins that were left to my church. I got prices from Southern Coin in Hoover, Doug's in Homewood, and a pawnshop in Hueytown. Southern and Doug's were within $25 of each other on the buy price. A few other people have told me they thought Southern and Doug's were both fair on buying, selling, and valuing. I sold the coins to Southern (which is now located at the former location of Hoover Tactical) since they offered a higher amount.
Bruce at the coin shop in Pelham was very fair to me. I hear only good things about him too
