I'd like to do it if I'm off call. Any of you guys want to help a thick headed fellow ARFCOMMER? I took the intro to IDPA course and have been itching to jump into competition.

Most of the time it's 7 stages, with one sometimes two long range steel stages..100 yards out to 300. The rest are paper IDPA style, 5ft to 35-40 yards.

By the way, last weekend during a local rifle stage, I double tapped three targets without my hearing protection before finally stopping. OUCH! My ears rang for three days, and hearing was distorted all week.
