Last few guns I have purchased have been from them. They are good people. I hate to hear this has happened

I pretty much live in that shop and they got very little. The shop prepares for it as much as they can, they lock all handguns in safes at night and cable lock long guns. The Knights was a special edition promo so it had to be in a case and was just not locked up, no room in the safe for the GSG. I think they were planning on handguns since they both had empty bags with them but when they saw no pistols, they just took what they could.
Really sucks, I have known Jason, Russ, and all the guys in there for quite a while now. They will get through it just fine though, the store is already looking better.

As for preparing I meant concrete post out front. This is becoming a common practice.

If I recall correctly Elmore's is in a strip mall - he may not own the building, and the property owner might be against having concrete posts installed on the sidewalk. Just a theory, I can't say for sure. Probably not cheap to install either (even if the property owner allowed them). Also, if I remember Elmore's just expanded and that I would imagine that cost them some serious coin. They did take some good security steps in that they had a camera system, and locked up a majority of the handguns at night. Not many stores do that because it takes a lot of time doing that everyday and it's a hassle. If they wouldn't have done that those assholes would have gotten 40-50 handguns in no time, but luckily they only got 3 guns total.

If there is anything I hate more than thieves it's that interview they done with that shit for brains Don. (WTF the only thing that gun was made for was killing people). What a worthless gun hating piece of SHIT.

Channel 13 is the ony one I know of that did a dual interview. Why they just had to add Don Davis is beyond me, can't stand that guy or his joke of a shop. I will try to find it.

He buys air time on TV to show commercials for his store. His store has a reputation for selling cheap potmetal guns at 2 or 3 times their normal prices to urban types that don't know any better, or go there because Don is an OG.

I had a buddy that wanted to go in there once, so I went for the LOLs, High Points and SKSs which were selling for $100 everywhere else were listed for $300.

While they may not be doing anything "illegal", their business practices are deffinetly shady.

Very large concrete planters work almost as well as concrete posts for stopping cars driving through the front.

I have been buying from Elmores for over 20 years now. They are a good bunch of guys and have the best selection of "cool" weapons around. If it was the knights in the case it was the nighthawk sr15 which was a collaboration between knights armament and nighthawk. There was the rifle and a matching 1911. Together they go for roughly $7500. The cocksuckers that did this need to be caught and shot. You have a family business trying to make it and assbags do something like this. I remember when they got hit numerous years ago and Russ saying it comes right out of his pocket as insurance companies either wont insure the inventory or it is way too cost prohibitive.

If I had a gun store, the very first thing after window grates and an alarm, would be to either build some of those planters or sink some steel poles in.

I know of at leat 4 now in centeral Indy area that has been hit like this.

Ft. Liberty, Don's, Pop's and now Elmore's.
