My mother is getting ready to get her first handgun and I really want to sign her up for a beginners class for carrying guns. I want her to be safe while she is exercising her right. I am going to get her to the range as soon as it starts to warm up again but until then I think she really needs a class. She is getting a S&W Bodyguard 380. So does anyone know of any classes around Grant County?

Start here.

Sheriff Ken will be the place to start. The introduction to defensive handgun class is some of the best dollar value that you will find.

The new schedule should go up the beginning of the year.

I am a very satisfied customer.

I may sign up with her since it would be a decent drive by herself unless I can find a class a little closer to home. But I love how he has those classes. Wish my county did that.

Sheriff Campbell has an excellent beginner's program. Also check with rhino_ here.
