NWI give me some ideas
As we all know NWI is nearly void of any tactical goodies. However I stopped by Star Uniforms yesterday at their new location which is just west of Willowcreek and 20 in Portage, about 3 minutes from Bass Pro. Now they've always had a few cool items on hand, but very few. They have a pretty decent selection of Surefire lights and Safariland holsters, and even some plate carriers. I was talking to whom I believe was the owner and suggested he dip into the tactical stuff. No firearms, but if he delved into rail accessories he might do pretty good. My first idea is that he should get rail mounts and touch pad switches for the Surefires he's selling. Then of course he should get some Magpul goodies, but what else? LaRue is obviously a quality product but will he sell enough to justify stocking it? So my question is what items would be good to have on hand and from what companies. I figure if he does well with some quick selling items he would be more likely to add to his inventory as the word spreads that he has such items. Right now the only place I know of that I can get (and pay too much) rail covers is Blythes. Once the local LE start finding tactical goodies there, the word would probably spread fairly quick. I told him I would send an E-mail with modest list of items he could sell, and see how it goes. Frankly him being open to the idea is excites the hell out of me. In fact the new location they have would have been absolutely perfect for Midwest if they had come over to Porter County since it's so close to Bass Pro. Give me some suggestions, we need a toystore even if they don't sell guns.

Yep...I bet he is really going to hate them once they get their FFL. I'm hoping they have resonable transfers. I had a gun transfered in to MGE last week and got charged $38

. I had one done a month ago and it was only $20 or $25.
So I looked under their BOB title and found this "- 1911 A1- Government Model .45. This is the real deal for a tough situation. Commands respect just by being unholstered. Reliable and will Git 'R Done!", and if you rack the pump on 12 gauge you get bonus points for a combo move.

Christ, what a mark-up...
$734.00 for an American Spirit Arms upper? Somebody take them to a gunshow, hold their hand and show them why they won't sell at that price.

Based on the price of those uppers that was posted, I would say not only do some work there, they sell in the EE...
