I'm looking to get in shape and figure that I would learn something useful while I'm at it. Problem I have is that I live in Havre de Grace and need somewhere local to train due to kids and work constraints.
Is there anywhere between Whitemarsh and Elkton that teaches Krav Maga? Closest I can find is Towson.
My thoughts are that if you aren't in a location to go to either the studio in Columbia or Owings Mills, save your cash.
If I were in your situation, I would find a crossfit or bootcamp type thing for the fitness and then do some classes with Mercop up at Freestate for the combatives.

Have any more info on this?
NM, found it. I was looking for more of a discipline than a 1 time class about using a pen to defend myself. As for firearms, I take classes when I can with a a few other instructors, I may need to look into his classes.
I remember a few years ago now while going through a DT instructor class, they started to blend some KM into it.
OMG my back.........

I wouldn't take up KM for fitness but I would if I wanted to learn how to kill a motherfucker with a paperclip.
