DC Metro Area AR15/M16 smith needed

I live in Montgomery County, MD and need a really good smith to do some AR15 and M16 work - notably, Gislele SSA triggers for my M16s, but also some SBR builds on stripped AR-15 lowers.

Would prefer MD, but VA is OK - would just need more ATF paperwork.

Who do you like and why?? Contact info please!

Thanks,

I've not had any work done by them, but Engage Armament is a class III dealer/manufacturer, and they're an otherwise good group of folks. They might be worth a look and they're just outside the Beltway in MoCo.

what you are looking for isnt that hard to do and you should be able to do it at home your self.

If he's "building" SBRs on a form 4 from 'regular lowers', he needs to engrave the lowers per ATF regulations. Most people do not have the equipment to do that properly.

I've never adapted a SSA pack for FA use, but I'd imagine that also isn't a piece of cake.

I'm inferring, of course, but he did ask for a class III manufacturer.

Mr.Pink

If you can wait I think we are trying to get a dinner together. I know we have armorers here. Myself included.

For SBR engraving on stripped lowers I would use Harford Engraving in Bel Air

For gunsmithing, like the guy above me, I would use Mike at Atlantic guns in Silver Spring

+1 for engage, Ask for Garrett he's the Armorer over there. Fresh out of gunsmith school, but does really nice work.
