Anyone travel out of state to hunt?

Anyone go to PA, DE, VA, or WV?

I'd like to stay here but the earliest hunter's safety course isn't until mid-summer. Since I moved here last year apparently the course I took in Ohio isn't retroactive.

PA has non-resident licenses for $31.00 and York County is only about an hour away.

Why wouldn't your hunter safety card from out of state still be valid?

Just buy your license online, problem solved.

I tried it already.

Ohio doesn't require a hunter's safety course like MD does, but I've been shooting since I was 6 and my dad thought it was a good idea to take the safety course when I was a little kid.

When you order the license online you have to supply a valid MD safety course completion number which I don't have.

No you don't. I bought mine at work and my hunter safety card was at home. It asks if you have your number available. If not, you get a provisional license and you keep your Ohio card with your license. No different than someone from Delaware buying an out of state permit to hunt geese in Salisbury.
