A co-worker had mentioned that a friend of his heard that someone was planning to build an indoor range on MD-43 (White Marsh Blvd.) somewhere between Eastern Blvd. and Rt. 40. Has anyone else heard this or know someone with more details ? A range within a 10 minute drive from the house would be great.

Saw mention of that over at MDshooters. Forget where it's at but I think the rumor before opening was that they'd allow rifles as well.

Wish there was more traffic over here in our hometown forum.

That would be the tits.

We have that "what county thread are you in thread" and there are dozens of MD'rs who otherwise disregard this forum.

It's going to be in one of the new business parks on White Marsh blvd, opening in April. The owner said in an MD shooters thread more info will be coming soon. I'm about 5 minutes from there and can't wait!

Definitely opening late April on White Marsh Blvd. Just confirmed it on MDshooters. Wow, a range 10 minutes from the house. My wife and I can't wait.

Almost too good to be true! Any mention of lane lengths or ammo restrictions?
That is seriously good news!

I don't remember any information about lane length by I believe I remember the ammo policy was along the lines of bring your own or buy at the range. There's information posted on MDshooter. Scroll down to industry partner then scroll down to the information posted about the "Freestate Gun Range" and also under "new range in Baltimore County".

You just making that up, or did you read something about their ammo policy?

I just read 16 pages about their range on MD Shooters, and did not see anything regarding their ammo policy.

Yep, you are wrong.

The owner posted today on Maryland Shooters that it is not going to be "frangible only." Also said they may even allow steel case.

I wouldn't mind at all if he passed it up. More range time for me !! What's someone from PA doing in our hometown forum any way ?
